Nose: Excellent nose. Full bodied .. oaky.
Score: 3/5

Mouth: Smooth with nice tannins on the finish. Noticed a 10 second finish .. tasted hints of spice with vanilla.  Excellent.
Score: 5/5

Conclusion: Our first wine from Crosskeys and I know why it was a gold medal winner! Excellent appearance, nose, and outstaning taste. The tannins were noticeable and the finish was superb. Great wine to keep in the cellar.
